Woman-Led Organisation for Innovative Nature Conservation

Antonia, President
My name is Antonia van Vlastuin, founder and president of the Cosmotonia Foundation. Through the Foundation, I work to promote the regenerative use of traditional practices, enhancing their commercial and ecological value. By empowering communities to generate sustainable income while fostering harmony with nature, I believe we can engage in a meaningful dialogue with traditional knowledge, ensuring that these systems and the wisdom they embody are preserved and celebrated.
This mission is both a professional and deeply personal endeavor. I am driven by a vision of a world where people and nature thrive together in balance—just as nature often inspires humans to grow in their own mission. Through my work with the Foundation, and as a coach and public speaker I am dedicated to fostering that harmony and creating a lasting impact.

Yana, Secretary
I’m Yana and from a young age, I’ve been passionate about contributing to a sustainable world. During my studies in sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation sciences, I discovered how we can achieve real sustainable impact through innovative business models. In my current role at the Impactmakers Community (impactmakerscommunity.nl), I coach young people in turning their impact ideas into reality and support impact-driven enterprises by connecting them with the local ecosystem.
I’m energized by fresh, concrete ideas that make the world a little more sustainable, as well as by inspiring and bringing people together around these ideas. I thrive on experiencing unexpected adventures and meeting new people. I find true peace in nature and dream of helping everyone reconnect with it.
As the secretary of the Cosmotonia Foundation, I am proud to contribute to our mission of creating harmony between people, nature, and culture. Together, we strive for a world where sustainable connections take center stage!

Kinha, Treasurer
I am Kinha de Almeida Guimarães, Treasurer of the Comotonia Foundation, dedicated to advancing societal well-being, fostering sustainability, and promoting cultural preservation. My passion lies in addressing social challenges and creating opportunities for workers and communities to thrive.
As Treasurer, I oversee the foundation’s financial stewardship, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to support our initiatives. I am responsible for maintaining transparent and efficient financial processes, managing budgets, and aligning our fiscal strategies with our mission of sustainability and cultural enrichment. My role also involves collaborating with board members to develop long-term plans that reflect our shared vision and values.
My work at the foundation allows me to integrate my passion for improving societal structures with practical action. I am particularly inspired by projects that enhance workers’ conditions, foster international cooperation, and preserve the heritage that connects us to our roots.
It is an honor to contribute to the foundation’s mission and work alongside dedicated individuals who share a commitment to building a sustainable and inclusive future. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of communities around the world.
We work with local partners around the world. To protect the privacy of Indigenous communities, we do not mention them by name.
